Kuyinhloso yesiprofetho sesikhathi ukukhuthaza abakhatheleyo nokuqinisa ababuthakathaka, ukuqondisa kabusha abaphambukayo futhi kuqinise abalungile. Isiprofetho samasonto angamashumi ayisikhombisa asikhombanga kuphela kuFakazi othembekile noqinisile, uJesu, owasayina isivumelwano ngegazi laKhe elihlengayo, kodwa nakofakazi ababili, abafakaza ngokufanayo ngokuphila kwabo okuhlengiwe. UDaniyeli (lapho kuchazwa khona amasonto angamashumi ayisikhombisa) kanye nesAmbulo (lapho kuchazwa khona ofakazi ababili) kufanele kufundwe ndawonye ngoba isAmbulo siqukethe izihluthulelo ezingavula futhi zembule okuqukethwe kuDaniyeli okuvalwe uphawu.[4]

Kuyathakazelisa ukuthi lezi zinto ezimbili zizohambisana ngokwemvelo. Ukusonga lo mbono kwakuyofaka nophawu kumprofethi owayeyofeza izenzo zokugcina zesivumelwano. Kodwa sizobona ukuthi kwaba khona kanjani ukuphazamiseka okukhulu okwavimbela ukuba zombili zigcwaliseke ngenkonzo kaJesu.

Lokho kuwuhlu impela! Ubani owayezokwazi ukwenza konke lokho? Ekuboneni kokuqala, singase sicabange ukuthi nguJesu kuphela owayengazigcwalisa esiphambanweni, kodwa ake sizicabangele ngokucophelela. Ingabe uJesu wakuvimba ukuhlubuka—impikiswano enkulu phakathi Kwakhe noSathane? Ukugxila kwayo kwashintsha, kodwa impi ayikanqamuki kuze kube namuhla ngemva kweminyaka ecishe ibe yizinkulungwane ezimbili. Ngokufanayo, ziye zaphela kanjani izono? Iliphi iqembu labantu eliyekile ukona? O, ukube nje iqembu elinjalo beliyozibonakalisa ngobuningi! Khona-ke umhlaba wonke wawungabona ukuthi umhlatshelo kaJesu uphumelela nakanjani! Ngokuhleleka kwaphezulu nangokunemba kwezibalo, uNkulunkulu wabeka isikhathi esithile sobufakazi obunjalo bokunqoba isono ukuze bunikezwe isivumelwano. Amasonto ayisikhombisa, noma iminyaka engu-49, kwaphawula isikhathi lapho udonga nomgwaqo wedolobha—indawo eyinhloko yedolobha—kwakuzokwakhiwa khona, enezela ngokuthi kwakuyokwenziwa ngezikhathi ezinzima. Khona-ke emva kwesonto lamashumi ayisithupha nesishiyagalolunye, uMesiya iNkosana (umHoli ogcotshiweyo) wayezofika endaweni. UJesu wakhonza iminyaka emithathu nengxenye ngemva kokuqala inkonzo Yakhe yasobala. Leyo impela ingxenye yesonto lamashumi ayisikhombisa.
