The seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy has received much attention, and for good reason. It points to arguably the most dramatic moments in the history of earth and the execution of God’s plan of salvation. And in light of the Threefold Key of Testimony, we see that God estimates the witness of His people—a witness that climaxes in that seventieth week—more than most have ever imagined!
There is certainly no salvation in any action or testimony apart from the blood of Jesus, but in the controversy between Christ and Satan, the enemy has raised some objections to God giving eternal life to those who have fallen under his power of death. God is not arbitrary but is One who will answer those objections for the sake of His people and the jury for the heavenly courts.
When we realize this, we begin to see the role of His two witnesses in a different and more serious light! Jesus gave His blood for the covenant in the midst of the seventieth historical week. Now, at the end of the world, the two witnesses are giving their testimony. It is not needed for salvation, but it is evidence of salvation. Yet until that evidence is produced, Satan’s accusations stand that Christ’s salvation from sin isn’t really effective.
To date, although we believe that the 144,000 witnesses have already been sealed, they still seem not to understand their role in God’s plan. If God’s own people do not know their marching orders in this last battle, how will the spiritual battle of Armageddon be won?
The world appears to be leaning toward the tipping point to apocalyptic nuclear war, but God cannot (legitimately) rapture His people until the spiritual war is also brought to a decisive conclusion. The Lord is waiting, watching. When will His people be ready? When will they understand? We are already entering the time of the third woe, yet God’s own are still in disarray.
The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved. For the hurt of the daughter of my people am I hurt; I am black; astonishment hath taken hold on me. Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? (Jeremiah 8:20-22)
Our great Physician longs to heal the wounds of sin with the balm of Gilead, but that balm is in scarce supply. This article is the rallying cry for you to make a wartime repurposing of your religious experience to increase the supply of that precious balm. Gilead was known for its balsam trees, with their sweetly fragrant, healing resin and leaves. What do you say? Is there a Physician in Gilead? Is there effective healing available? What is your testimony?
And they overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (Revelation 12:11)
The name Gilead is from a Hebrew word meaning “heap of testimony.” It is the testimony of the two collective witnesses—two churches—of the last generation that must be given before the Lord can vanquish the accuser and deliver His people from the earth. The Lord has done all that was needed to provide the healing; our part is to collect the balm of testimony by faith in Him and present it to our Physician.
Why is that balm of testimony needed? What prophecies are fulfilled by it? For whom is it effective? How much does it cost? Where is the tree from which it is produced? How does one gather it? When must it be collected? These questions will all be answered as the key of the testimony of love is turned in the lock of God’s mysteries and the door of rapturous salvation opens for the redeemed of all ages.
And the Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice. And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. (Deuteronomy 4:12-13)
The covenant of God was represented in the words of the ten commandments, and these were placed inside an ark with two angels at the ends, looking reverently into it while covering it with their wings.[1]
These two cherubim represent God’s two archangels. One of those archangels is Michael, whose name means “Who is like God”, doubling as a statement and a question. His name tells the answer to the same as a question. The allusion to a controversy about who is like God is evidenced by the fact that Michael (the angelic form of Jesus) is represented in the context of conflict and confrontation with the devil.[2]
Lucifer (Satan before being cast out of heaven), standing opposite to the immortal One, was once the created covering cherub,[3] but forfeited his position when he turned away from the love represented by God’s law and began to exalt himself.[4] In his fall, he took a third of the host of heaven with him, and he, as well as the fallen host would need to be replaced. It is apparent that the angel Gabriel (meaning “man of God”) took Lucifer’s place,[5] and the redeemed are to replace the fallen host who defected to Lucifer.
Therefore, God’s covenant to redeem man would also serve to fill the vacancies in heaven. Every person who would adhere to the terms of the covenant would be redeemed and would serve to restore the breach that was made by the rebellion in heaven. This is the context of the verse mentioned earlier referring to the covenant of redemption in Revelation 12:
Jesus gave His blood for the covenant, and the two witnesses give their testimony. The two witnesses are described as two olive trees (for oil of the Spirit) and two candlesticks, and so represent the two churches who retain the Holy Spirit until the end.
These [the two witnesses] are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. (Revelation 11:4)
The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. (Revelation 1:20)
Jesus is the faithful and true Witness, who judges in righteousness,[6] and His two witnesses reflect His sacrificial character like the moon reflects the light of the sun. In this article series, we have repeatedly seen how the cross of Christ was His part of a two-party agreement, or covenant. We summarized the sacrifices of the covenant in United in the Tribulation Cross using the following table:
Jesus died for the broken law—both tables of stone—and in His resurrection, His life is made available to every believer. The covenant is completed through those who keep the Ten Commandments and have the faith of Jesus to sacrifice their all. Smyrna was willing to give their blood, standing firm in their faith toward God. The martyrs of Smyrna had the faith of Jesus to testify with their blood, proving their self-sacrificial love toward God, as embodied in the first table of stone with the four commandments about our relationship to God.
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. (Matthew 22:36-38)
Philadelphia, on the other hand, has the faith of Jesus to testify by putting their eternal lives on the altar for the sake of others, proving their self-sacrificial brotherly love, as embodied in the second table of stone with the six commandments about human relationships.
And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (Matthew 22:39-40)
Smyrna and Philadelphia are the two churches without reproach that learn to sing the song of sacrificial love, upon which all the law and prophets hang. They have shunned the world’s DNA-polluting vaccine, which is Satan’s counterfeit to the divine antidote against all disease. They went instead to the Creator and received His own true and effective DNA vaccine against a disease far worse than Covid-19: sin. However, God’s enemies are not willing to surrender their prey just because God claims that His proprietary vaccine, administered by faith in His Son’s sacrifice, is effective.
God pointed to Job as an example of one for whom the vaccine of faith was effective, but Satan contested the validity of the evidence:
Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? … put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face. (Job 1:9,11)
Throughout history, uncounted millions have given their all for their faith in the Savior. Their blood testifies that they loved God supremely and were cleansed from the curse of sin. They walked by faith according to His will as expressed in His law of love. Even at the expense of their very lives, like Job, they would not sin before the Lord nor make themselves a curse to Him before His face:
In all this Job sinned not [did not curse God in action], nor charged God foolishly [did not count God as unjust]. (Job 1:22)
But despite this successful test run, Satan wasn’t finished with his challenges. There was more that could show that Job’s Messianic vaccine was not able bring complete healing for the disease of sin.
And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. (Job 2:4-5)
Regarding the first words of his accusation, consider this relevant commentary:
4. Skin for skin. This expression has provoked much discussion among commentators. The saying, evidently proverbial, may have had its origin in the language of barter or exchange, signifying that a man would give up one thing for another, or one piece of property of less value in order to save a greater. In like manner he would be willing to surrender everything, in order that his life, the most valuable object, might be preserved. Satan is trying to show that a test of suf cient severity had not been imposed on Job to reveal his actual character. He advances the theory that every man has his price. Job’s integrity had demonstrated that a man may lose his property and still serve God; but Satan was not willing to admit that a man will maintain his loyalty to God if his life is placed in jeopardy. Compare Matt. 6:25.[7]
The martyrs gave their lives with the full assurance that Jesus would raise them up and reward them with eternal life in His kingdom. Now Satan ups the ante because it could be that one would die a martyr’s death selfishly, just for the sake of gaining eternal life. But if his spiritual life from God—the assurance of salvation and eternal life—is not guaranteed, he might not consider Jesus worth sacrificing for, and thus commit sin, cursing God.
Job’s boils were like receiving the plague of the “noisome and grievous sore” that is appointed to the wicked. He received the plague despite his being faithful to God. This is what Philadelphia does by enduring the time of plagues, staying faithful to God whatever the cost, even though their own salvation doesn’t seem to have come, and their eternal lives are endangered. Only by loving others above oneself could one continue to make this sacrifice of service to God without reward—continuing to reach and teach others, even if not saved himself or benefited in any way. That is the testimony of the church of brotherly love, Philadelphia.
There is just one more step to ensure that the heavenly vaccine against sin is ready to roll out: the trial must be conducted on a large scale. With just a few test subjects like Noah, Daniel, and Job, an accurate assessment of the vaccine’s effectiveness on the general population is impossible. Maybe faith worked for a few strong ones, but what about the many of us who are of the weakest and most degraded generation of history?
God’s vaccine is now entering “phase three trials” to test this very point. This is the role of the two collective witnesses. It must be proven whether the vaccine was effectively able to transcribe the Lord’s DNA into their many varied hearts by faith.[8] This is proven when they stand through the fiery end-time ordeal without cursing God by transgressing His commandments, nor by regarding His law as foolish, all the while turning many to righteousness.
Do you remember God’s seal of Creation in your DNA, or do you put your trust in man’s genetic vaccines to heal you, and by so doing, declare God more foolish than man? Do you believe in the Lord’s ability to save to the uttermost?
Every scientific trial needs to be well-designed, and the 144,000 end-time participants in this trial show God’s thorough design. The Lord has one vaccine, but there are differences in how different people deliver it, and it needs to be ruled out that the effectiveness of the vaccine could be affected by the details of its delivery. Every type of character represented by the twelve tribes (12) have each communicated the vaccine of Christ’s blood to those among every other character type including their own (12). Thus, every combination of delivery (12 × 12) of the gospel message is probed with many (×1000) participants.
If all 12 × 12 × 1000 = 144,000 participants stand the test, the structure of this trial will prove that no transcription errors would arise because of differences in the manner of delivery by the various characters. Only when this ordeal is successfully passed by the two witnesses—one witness comprising 144,000 living Christians and the other consisting of the martyrs—will it be possible to silence the accuser of the brethren and legitimately roll out God’s healing balm to all generations of the redeemed in the first resurrection. And that is why the two witnesses must give their testimony, attesting to its effectiveness.
This is the requirement that must yet be fulfilled before the Lord can take His people away from this world that is overcome with wickedness. The covenant has been delivered, but it is not valid until it is signed by the witnesses, so if Satan is successful in preventing enough people from testifying for God, then even though he could not overcome Jesus, he could still invalidate the plan of salvation, or at least delay it, as he already did once, resulting in the passing of nearly two millennia, as we explained in Part I!
The testimony of the two witnesses is a theme that captures the interest of angels and all who understand its important role in God’s plan of salvation. It may not always seem to be an obvious theme in Scripture, but it is often present in subtle ways, as we have already seen. Many prophecies point to their important work and especially the culminating moments of their witness, and God provides His people with all that is needed to be adequately prepared to serve in that capacity.
The trumpet warnings of Revelation prophesy of troubles to be expected at the time of their testimony, other angels are sent with messages of preparation so that all may be ready for what to expect from the earthly powers, and in Daniel, the question of how long the saints must endure is answered. With these, the two witnesses can be fully prepared for their testimony for God.
It was with the purpose to find those witnesses, that this ministry began to call to the Seventh-day Adventist Church to turn from their sins that had reached heaven, being marked in the Orion clock, which was ticking throughout the history of that church. Through repentance, they were to serve as law-abiding, faithful witnesses for God. But after more than two years of public ministry, the fierce internal opposition, especially among the pastors and leaders of the church, who served as spiritual “light(ning) arresters,” prevented a significant number of Adventists from being willing to accede to the truth and repent.
When we made the “final warning” to gather in repentance for a Lord’s Supper on Passover of April 6, 2012, few heeded the call. Then the Spirit led us to call for a second-month Passover gathering like Hezekiah did when the priests were not ready in time.[9] We repeated the warning for the second Passover on May 6, 2012, believing that dramatic events would begin to trouble the earth and the witnesses would need to stand, but still an exceedingly small number heeded the call. It was necessary for the Lord to issue a change of venue for the court so that the judgment proceedings could continue. This was completed by early 2014.
For some time, it seemed that the warnings were in vain, perhaps not even Spirit-led. But much later, after the new ministry of the White Cloud Farm began, we realized that because there were two witnesses on either side of the river, Daniel’s “time, times, and an half” should be reflected![10] We saw that they were reflected around a seven-day window representing Jesus standing on the river:
Given the threefold key of testimony, however, and since this is about the testament, or covenant, we could expect that the final application of the timelines may also be in reflection around a (later) time that represents the two witnesses. What point in time is representative of the two witnesses?
It would not be until May of 2021, when we believe the 144,000 were sealed, that we would understand that there was another reflection point for Daniel’s timelines: the great wonder in heaven of Revelation 12:1, which was seen on September 23, 2017. We were not alone in recognizing that the 1335 days could be applied from that time to reach until May 20, 2021, but it seems that we were the only ones who had the framework to understand the significance of that date[11] and that there was a reflection around the great wonder in heaven. When we count the 1335 days excluding the day of the wonder itself, then we find something very interesting:
The Hebrew anniversary of the laying of the foundation of the second temple fell on January 26, 2014, a highly significant date in God’s plan,[12] and there are exactly 1335 days between that date and the day of the great wonder of the woman of Revelation 12:1. The reflection of this, after the sign of the woman, points to the first day when the 144,000 were all sealed and ready to testify. This paints an important picture, because it shows a relationship between the great wonder and the temple of the Holy Spirit, who are the 144,000, whose foundation was laid in 2014. We understood this in the context of the heavenly courtroom, and from that day, the proceedings of the court’s second phase (the judgment of the living) could begin.
Remarkably, May 21, 2021, is also the day that the “stem” of the second leaf of the Horologium “tree” began.[13] With the 144,000 sealed, they could begin to take their stand for the Father and give their testimony as witnesses.
The 1335 days is not the only timeline mentioned in the vision of Daniel 12, which is symmetrical about a man (Jesus) standing over a river with two people watching (i.e., witnessing), standing on opposite sides of the river. When asked about the time, He swore a special oath:
And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven [that is, speaking to the two witnesses together], and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. (Daniel 12:6-7)
Because Jesus spoke this to the two witnesses together (unlike the 1335 days, which was mentioned by the angel after the oath scene), it is justifiable to divide His answer in two, so that half of the “time, times, and an half” (1260 days) would apply to one, and half to the other (1260 ÷ 2 = 630). But remember, since it is given loosely in units of “times,” there could be an intercalary month added, which could be added to either half, giving an additional 30 days. Putting this all together, we see even more beauty and symmetry in the Lord’s design:
From the “final warning” that we gave, when we expected the fireballs, we find a perfect reflection to the day when we now have good reason to expect the rapture, when the fireballs of the fierceness of God’s wrath unmixed with mercy could be poured out with finality; the hail of the seventh plague. This would mark the time when “all these things shall be finished.”
God leads us step by step, and although we do not know the exact details of the future, we can definitely see that there is a relationship in time between the well-known heavenly sign of the woman and the proclamations of this ministry, from its early days till now. It seems that He who created the heavens was also leading us, despite our limited human understanding, to proclaim a message for the two witnesses, who are to lead many to righteousness. Will you hear it?
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars [like the crowned woman] for ever and ever. (Daniel 12:3)
Let us take this reflection a step further. What if the “time times and a half” are split as before but without adding any intercalary month? This would highlight the fact that two warnings were given in the beginning, separated by a month. We could expect that a corresponding earthly event might take place at the end, escalating the world’s time of trouble in symmetrical relation. Such an event could serve as a final warning for even the slowest of God’s people to flee from Babylon before they perish therein. This would be shortly before the great culminating events at the end of the 70 weeks would transpire, which they would have to endure in the end.
Could this mean that something significant will happen on February 10, 2023? Time will tell, so stay watchful.
Scarcely after the reconvening of the court, the angels with trumpets prepared themselves to sound, forewarning of The Last Race. That 624-day trumpet cycle of the LastCountdown.org website was intrinsically coupled with the 636-day, loud sounding trumpet cycle of the WhiteCloudFarm.org website. Together, they gave their warnings for 1260 days. Could it be that these complementary periods of warnings pointed forward to the Horologium time when the trouble they warned of would precipitate from the worsening condition of the world?
Daniel’s “time, times, and an half” were given once to two witnesses, so they were divided between them. Likewise, the 1260 days of the testimony of the two witnesses in Revelation is stated once and is therefore also divided between them.
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. (Revelation 11:3)
In the time of the trumpet cycles, events took place that were as evil seeds that would later grow up to be much greater issues. One example that demonstrates this quite effectively is the very first trumpet of the preparatory trumpet cycle.
After kicking off with the violent volcanic eruption of Mt. Sinabung, the main political theme of the first trumpet was Russia’s annexation of Crimea. Compare that with the volcanic eruption of Hunga Tonga that was likewise followed by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and you can understand how the seed planted in 2014 has grown to maturity in the Horologium time.
The theme of how the trumpets forewarned of events in the present time, however, is beyond the scope of this article, but will be presented in our next article, which you will not want to miss! The amazing thing to realize now is how the duration of both trumpet cycles perfectly corresponds to the duration of the Horologium time as we experienced it!
The comet of the clock (BB) first came into the press when scientists discovered that despite being so far away, it already showed cometary activity. That was reported on June 22, 2021, and from that day until March 8, 2023, when the feast of Purim indicates that the tables turn in favor of God’s people, there are exactly 624 days—shadowing the duration of the preparatory trumpet cycle of Revelation 8:6 as testified on LastCountdown.org!
The omen for the looming time of darkness was seen in the solar eclipse of June 10, 2021, when the sun was darkened as comet BB began to enter the clockface of the Horologium, signaling the transition from a time of preparation and warning to the final test for mankind. Precisely from that eclipse on June 10, 2021, until the same divinely confirmed end of the time of sackcloth and mourning on March 8, 2023, we find the counterpart to the 624 days: the 636-day duration of the sounding trumpet cycle beginning in Revelation 8:7 that the WhiteCloudFarm.org website warned about!
There was always a question of how to understand that the two witnesses “shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days”. The original Greek is ambiguous. Is it that they prophesy for that duration of time? or is it that they prophesy about those days? Now we see that the absence of the clarifying word was a tool of ingenuity because it indeed applies in both ways![14]
The two witnessing churches, having been sealed just weeks prior to the beginning of that timeline, are to stand with the character of Christ throughout it. Especially in the intense phase at the end of the timeline, they must stand in the power that the Lord gives them, living their testimony of faithfulness despite the adverse circumstances of the hour. This is when the balm of their witness is to be collected, as the blood of Christ was collected for the testament at Calvary. What we see in the timeline above is that all the trumpet warnings of the past were pointing to the present days when the two witnesses would give their testimony amid ever-increasing trials until culminating on March 8, 2023—the center-point of the seventieth week with all its significance.
The Lord gave ample preparation for the present time of witness through the warning of the three angels messages in Revelation 14. Those preparatory messages first went through the earth around the time when the judgment was beginning in 1844. One might ask whether messages so old can still be relevant to God’s people in these final moments of history!
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: (Acts 3:19-20)
There is one church that is closely connected with the three angels’ messages: the Seventh-day Adventist Church. But like the Jews of old who rejected Jesus, that church rejected the Holy Spirit—the very Angel they were most identified with. And like Israel became a byword and a metaphor for God’s people, so also the Seventh-day Adventist Church has an important role in prophecy, but that organization today, now zealous for Satan’s cause, has even been spit out of the body of Christ.
Nevertheless, that church, whose roots were in the timely warning messages of the three angels from God’s throne,[15] was chosen by God to demonstrate the principles of the character that He would write in the hearts of the two witnesses. This is a profound theme that will be explored in the next and last article of this series. Like Israel’s failure led to a postponement and reapplication of the seventy weeks prophecy, so the failure of the Adventist Church led to the need for another time of refreshing from God’s presence.
Like the two witnesses give testimony in their death (Smyrna) and in their life (Philadelphia), so the three angels’ messages regarding the hour of judgment applied once for the dead but must repeat in a special application to the judgment of the living, who are to stand in the last generation.
We have seen how angels in the Revelation—a book whose end-time application can only be understood by looking up to all truth—represent the time indicators on the clock of the Holy Spirit, which depends on comets. The first of these messages was a loud and solemn warning to “Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come.”[16] Looking back on the many studies of the comet dubbed O3,[17] we can see that its primary, overarching function was to illustrate the ark of the covenant. It pointed to God’s law as the standard of judgment, for which Christ’s blood was given to enable the last generation to bear their cross in witness to the Lord’s saving power.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. (Ecclesiastes 12:13)
The first angel leads by directing one’s attention to the law of God as the foundation of God’s government. It describes the very nature of God in His purity and holiness. The broken law, however, required Jesus to give His redeeming blood, lest the world perish in its sin.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
The second angel proclaims the contrast between the kingdoms of Christ and Satan, declaring that Babylon is fallen.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. (Revelation 14:8)
The comet BB[18] is the Comet of Time and is strongly associated with Jesus. It activates the Horologium and points especially to the woes, which are reflected in the message of the second angel.
The wine of wrath that the nations are made to drink is contrasted with the blood of Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, marked at the sacrificial hour that points to the omega loop of the comet. Before the dividing point when it was reported to be a comet, the first leaf of the clock—which the 9:00 hour of Philadelphia’s sacrifice would point to—highlights the time that concluded with the sealing of the 144,000. The witnesses of Philadelphia were sealed with the Holy Spirit, who is leading them to all the truth that they need in order to stand against the fiery trials to which they will be subjected by Satan.
And that brings us to the third angel’s message from the Holy Spirit, because the next step in the plan of salvation is that the two witnesses appropriate the blood of Jesus and give their testimony of victory through trial. This is the theme of the third angel, which is the comet K2[19] telling the story of the final confrontation between Babylon and God’s end-time witnesses. It concludes with the call to stand against the mark of the beast (and receive the seal of Philadelphia through the Horologium instead).
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God… (Revelation 14:9-10)
Isn’t it interesting that it is precisely the forehead and the hand that are highlighted by K2 as it passes through the Horologium cross? It stands as a memorial to those who choose to bear their cross rather than to receive the mark of the beast!
Looking back at the roots of the Adventist movement, well after the messages of the three angels had been proclaimed, a fourth angel visited the church in 1888 in the form of Spirit-filled preachers with a refreshing message—but it was rejected, and since then, the church has steadily gone downhill in its faithlessness and uselessness for God. The fourth angel would need to return again to proclaim the second time of refreshing that was given by the first three angels, in order for God’s plan to be revitalized and made successful. And this is what we see in the Horologium cross of the two witnesses that is activated by comet BB of the second angel, whose message the fourth amplifies.[20]
The two lines of the Horologium cross that are not directly formed by stars,[21] and which comet K2 passes through, point especially to the sacrifice of the two witnesses that has been given as the fulfillment of man’s part of the covenant. As Jesus bore His cross, so are the two witnesses bearing theirs, and these both relate to the prophecy of the seventy weeks, as we shared in Part I. Therefore, it is important to understand especially this less familiar memorial cross of the two witnesses in more detail as symbolized in the prophecy of their work in Revelation 11.
In Time for the Impossible, we learned how God associated specific promises with these dates on the Horologium cross: “I will return unto thee” on March 5, 2023, and “I will establish My covenant” on March 8, 2023. Could it be that our understanding could be improved by reflecting on the story of the two witnesses—who are killed and raised to life together—in light of the full seven days of the seventieth week that was revealed through the prophecy of the seventy weeks?
That week will surely be no time of peace as far as the inhabitants of the earth are concerned. The wicked rulers do all in their power to extinguish the light of the two witnesses, for it is Satan who motivates them. It is said that the beast from the bottomless pit overcomes them:
And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. (Revelation 11:7-9)
Notice that for the three days and a half that their bodies are exposed, they are in the street “where also our Lord was crucified.” In The True Story of the Two Witnesses, we explained how they lived out this prophecy as for three and a half Orion cycles, their experience was effectively dead. Now in the Horologium memorial, the Lord reflects back on their experience as this period is pinned to the cross—a cross that not only belongs to the two witnesses, but “also” to Jesus. The two witnesses and Jesus are united in the tribulation cross, eternally memorialized in the Horologium. The street is represented by the path of comet K2, which will have passed through the cage of the unclean birds shortly before entering the clock, pointing to Babylon as the great city, characterized by the sins of Sodom and Egypt.
Sodom is a symbol for moral depravity (especially manifested in the LGBT proud-as-a-peacock movement) and Egypt for Pharaoh’s defiance of God, who refused to submit to the demands of the Creator to set Israel free, even while plagued by judgments.
Is that not an accurate description of the global system in place today, especially in the so-called Christian nations, led by the United States? They are being judged by God, yet they do not heed His voice. The perversions of the LGBT lifestyles are given legal protection and church acceptance, while the population is brought into slavery in the form of financial bondage of all classes. Even the US Federal Reserve itself has admitted that their measures to keep prices stable “will also bring some pain to households and businesses”.[22] In practice, this means that many more will become slaves to ever-increasing debt. The judgment of this class will be final.
When will liberation be proclaimed for God’s people, that they may leave the antitypical Egypt and Sodom for the promised heavenly land? The bondage of the Israelite slaves in Egypt became only harder when God sent Moses to deliver them. Likewise, it could be that this cross in the Horologium represents the temporal extent of the increasing burden the two witnesses are subjected to as they are vexed like Lot with this sinful world,[23] before freedom is pronounced. As Ellen G. White put it:
In the last great conflict of the controversy with Satan those who are loyal to God will see every earthly support cut off. Because they refuse to break His law in obedience to earthly powers, they will be forbidden to buy or sell. It will finally be decreed that they shall be put to death. {DA 121.3}
Can it be a coincidence that the anniversary of the attempted genocide of Israelites from the Persian kingdom in Esther’s day—falls precisely within those 3.5 days from March 5 to March 8, 2023?[24] Consider that the President of the United States recently gave an incendiary speech in Philadelphia against “MAGA Republicans”—who are largely Protestants—in the demonic, blood-red glow under the wings of the Nazi eagle with Marines standing guard behind him![25]
It is no longer difficult to believe that a civil war with potential to make literal martyrs out of many Protestant Christians, could be just around the corner in the US. But it is also possible that their weapon of choice is the genetic vaccination needle, in which case, the would-be martyrs are not counted for God, but for Satan. Never forget that we are fighting a spiritual war first and foremost! Don’t allow yourself to become a casualty![26]
Indeed, that beast of a nation, once lamblike with the two horns of Republicanism and Protestantism but now under a Catholic president, speaks like the dragon in the Vatican, to whom he is loyal.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. (Revelation 13:11)
This speech was an official White House event, not a campaign speech, and the administration says that it was “not a speech about a particular politician, or even about a particular political party.”[27] Perhaps “MAGA Republicans” is rather a code word for a belief system they particularly despise, held by those belonging to the biblical church of Philadelphia, the namesake of the city the president spoke from. Spiritual Philadelphia’s moral conduct and prophetic testimony torment the lawless and immoral inhabitants of the earth.
And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. (Revelation 11:10)
This festive merrymaking and sending of gifts one to another is a perfect description of the Jewish holiday of Purim, celebrating their victory in the war against the Persians of Queen Esther’s kingdom who would have killed them. The two prophets tormented the inhabitants of the earth with their prophetic declarations of judgment and doom, and the world (including the modern Israel) took joy in their death as though they were the enemy. In 2023, Purim is celebrated in Jerusalem on March 8[28]—exactly when the comet K2 traverses the Horologium crossbeam, symbolizing the completion of the memorial cross of the two witnesses. Coincidence?
Just as Purim is celebrated as a day when the fate of Israel was turned from death to victory, the Bible also indicates that the same will be true for the two witnesses:
And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. (Revelation 11:11)
In combination with the clock, this suggests that the terrible circumstances of the death of the two witnesses are memorialized in three and a half days beginning on March 5, 2023, until the tables are turned on March 8, 2023. After the three and a half Orion cycles, the Spirit of life entered into them with the definitive eruption of Hunga Tonga that marks the midnight point on the memorial clock. One might see what appears to be a contradiction with the prophecy of the seventy weeks, however, because the anointed was said to be cut off in the midst of the week:
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah [the anointed] be cut off, but not for himself: … And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, ... (Daniel 9:26-27)
When we read it carefully, however, we see that there is no contradiction at all. The ingenious ambiguity of the prophetic word is breathtaking, allowing for a difference in application to Jesus vs. the two witnesses! Jesus caused the animal sacrifices and oblations to cease when He was cut off in the midst of the week. The cutting off of the two witnesses, on the other hand, is represented at the beginning of the memorial week on March 5, yet their sacrifice would still cease in the middle on March 8 when the Spirit of life would enter them once their cross is fully represented in heaven.
In the memorial cross, both are represented as being cut off “after” the sixty-ninth week and both would cause sacrifice to cease in the middle, because they faithfully endured their cross. The prophecy still fits! Time will soon tell exactly how this week will conclude their witness, but we present this memorial based on the biblical hints that seem to paint a unified picture.
It was Queen Esther who took her life in her hands to intercede before the king on behalf of her people. As a woman, she represents a church (the church of Philadelphia) whose members interceded with God at the risk of their eternal life. That risk has become even more pronounced as they walk through the valley of the shadow of death with the walking dead on every side since the public has been pressured to submit to genetic engineering to their woe. The cross in the Horologium depicts the cost of the Lord’s balm for sin. Many have taken up their cross and followed Jesus even without realizing it, because God is leading those who hear His voice.
Once the cross is borne to the end, instead of succumbing to decreed death and defeat, the two witnesses in their full count would stand on their feet as great fear falls upon their enemies. Today, it is not the nation of Israel whose mourning is turned to joy, but of spiritual Israel as described in Time for the Impossible. Herein lies the answer to the open question at the close of the sixth seal passage:
For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (Revelation 6:17)
The two witnesses are they who stand on their feet amid their enemies who hide in bunkers from the wrath that is to be poured out for all the plagues that they poured into God’s cup.[29] The climax of that time is marked at the crossbeam of the Horologium cross. About that time, the standing witnesses hear a great voice—an expression associated with the sun (the great light) in heavenly signs—calling them to come up.
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. (Revelation 11:12)
Could it be that the sign of the Bridegroom on March 7, 2022, in the highest-resolution image ever taken of the sun, was a hint to this prophetic utterance from His great voice when the sun would return on its circuit a year later?
The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? (Isaiah 33:14)
One could imagine that this might signify a Carrington-like event at that time, which would bring the earth to its knees in great fear.[30] Whatever it points to, it would suggest that the fierceness of God’s fiery wrath would bear down upon the pale-faced inhabitants of the earth before the two witnesses ascend in the rapture. This would raise a question, though, because God’s people are not appointed to wrath![31] Could there be a solution hidden in the symbolism that we’ve already looked at?
The three and a half days (March 5 to March 8, 2023), which span the two beams of the cross, suggest the culmination of the sacrifice of the two witnesses. Smyrna would have given her blood, sleeping in death, while Philadelphia finishes her walk through the prophetic valley of the shadow of death[32]—“shadow” referring to the second death, the spiritual reality for which the first death is a type.[33] Like Jesus could not see life beyond the tomb in the darkness that surrounded the cross and separated Him from His Father, so at that time, Philadelphia would cry out as Job:
He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am gone: and mine hope hath he removed like a tree. He hath also kindled his wrath against me, and he counteth me unto him as one of his enemies. (Job 19:10-11)
And even so, they can do no other than maintain their faithful course according to God’s law. This is the climax of the time of anguish that the High Sabbaths of our Savior’s gene of life were foreshadowing.[34] He rested in the tomb, having sacrificed both His earthly life and His spiritual life, for which reason He forever retains His human form, bearing the scars of His cross. Likewise, His two witnesses offer their earthly (Smyrna) and spiritual lives (Philadelphia), forever memorialized as the comet K2 chimes the Horologium midnight hour.
The midnight thunder, which is marked by Hunga-Tonga, begins the seventieth week shortly after the Sabbath closes and the first Hebrew day of the week, March 4/5 begins. The two witnesses partake of Jesus’ sacrifice. They feel, each in his own way, how Jesus felt as the darkness descended and troubled His innocent soul as He was being reckoned as an enemy of God. And like He trusted that He would rise again, so His two witnesses must also trust in His justice to be established in their memorial cross.
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. (John 12:27-28)
May God’s name be glorified again in His witnesses during the closing moments of their ministry. The midpoint of that seventieth week, March 8, 2023, would mark the time for a glorious transformation to take place as the shadow of death is finally turned to morning. This is when the Spirit of life would enter into the two witnesses and the prophecies would be fulfilled in quick succession:
Graves are opened, and “many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth ... awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” Daniel 12:2. All who have died in the faith of the third angel’s message come forth from the tomb glorified, to hear God’s covenant of peace with those who have kept His law. “They also which pierced Him” (Revelation 1:7), those that mocked and derided Christ’s dying agonies, and the most violent opposers of His truth and His people, are raised to behold Him in His glory and to see the honor placed upon the loyal and obedient. {GC 637.1}
That would be the day for God to establish His covenant, as He foretold through His promise to Abraham.[35] The two witnesses would have given their testimony of faithfulness to the end and ratified the covenant. Therefore, they would then be changed:
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep [like Smyrna], but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump [on March 8, 2023]: for the trumpet [of silver in Jesus’ hand] shall sound, and the dead [Smyrna] shall be raised incorruptible, and we [Philadelphia] shall be changed. For this corruptible [Philadelphia’s degenerated flesh] must put on incorruption [glorified bodies], and this mortal [this body subject to death like Smyrna] must put on immortality [eternal life]. (1 Corinthians 15:51-53)
With immortal, incorruptible bodies, the two witnesses would stand on their feet until the vision of the seventy weeks is completed when the full cup of the fierceness of God’s wrath[36] is poured out. That desolation is poured upon the wicked inhabitants of antitypical Jerusalem and Babylon across the face of the earth. The righteous are not appointed to this wrath[37] and would therefore be changed into their glorified bodies beforehand. That wrath might be administered at the hands of man, for it is written:
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. (Daniel 9:26)
At this point in the prophecy, another prince is introduced whose people ultimately destroy “the city and the sanctuary”, ending with a flood when desolations are determined. Interestingly, on October 3, 2022, a Russian submarine carrying up to six Poseidon nuclear torpedoes disappeared[38] into the depths of the Arctic Ocean in a stark warning of what could point to a literal fulfillment of this terminal prophetic scenario described by Daniel: “the end thereof shall be with a flood.”
These torpedoes are designed to explode under the water near a coast to create a huge, 500-meter tsunami as a so-called “third strike” weapon that would wipe away everything on the coast for miles around. By “third strike,” it is meant that after both warring sides are decimated, these self-guiding drone torpedoes will give a “third strike” to finish the job with a man-made radioactive tsunami. Hence, “the end thereof” comes with “a flood.”
If this is indeed what the Bible refers to, then we may have just seen the beginning of the sounding of the seventh trumpet! The violent eruption of the Hunga-Tonga volcano portrayed how Babylon would be thrown into the depth of the sea like a millstone. A millstone grinds over a surface, one way, then the other, and could signify the utter devastation that would come with the use of such a weapon.
God’s people would do well to pray that God sends His own natural disasters to prevent wicked men from rendering the earth a nuclear wasteland before the righteous have a chance to learn the truth. The words of David are very applicable here:
And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the Lord; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man. (1 Chronicles 21:13)
By March 8, 2023, the time testified by the two witnesses reaches its end, and the conclusion of the seventieth week points especially to the final, terrible desolation of the “city”, including by the hail of the seventh plague that will be poured out upon the modern-day “Babylon”, especially the United States, as many of its prophets have warned. Could this be when the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God described in the seventh plague is to be poured out, with hail mingled with fire as the seventieth week draws to a fiery close on Saturday, March 11, 2023? The end would be realized precisely three years after coronavirus was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020, when it kicked off the time of woes.
After that Sabbath concluding the seventy weeks (the Hebrew day of March 11/12, 2023), one could expect the redeemed of all ages to be raised from the dust in the resurrection of the righteous to receive their eternal reward in the rapture.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
The prophecies of this great reunion of God’s family would be fulfilled if the two witnesses faithfully provide their balm of testimony. The great day pointed to by God’s clocks, March 8, 2023, would signal whether or not the trial was successful and the balm would be approved for use throughout the population of the redeemed.
Given the mountains of evidence considered thus far, the Horologium clearly has a prominent place in the prophecies of Revelation! So much apocalyptic prophecy points to the leaves of time that it displays, that it cannot be ignored as merely a modern and insignificant southern constellation! In fact, when we consider the description of God’s throne, we discover something beautifully amazing about it.
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:1-2)
The throne of God is the mercy seat of the ark of the covenant, as we have seen it in the Mazzaroth.[39] Sitting on the throne are the Lamb (Aries, representing Jesus) and the two fish (Pisces), representing two groups from among His people—some who have passed through death (the lying fish) like Moses, and those who are to be raptured alive (the ascending fish) like Elijah. And they are together with the Lamb at the right hand of Power:[40] the Father as represented by Aquarius.
To him [Pisces] that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I [Aries] also overcame, and am set down with my Father [Aquarius] in his throne. (Revelation 3:21)
Those who sit with the Father are overcomers. Jesus became a Man and overcame on our behalf, giving Himself as a free-will Offering on the altar (Taurus), that we might also be overcomers, keeping in subjection the flesh[41] (Cetus) and walking in the newness of the life of Christ.[42] The Father, while never coming to earth in the flesh, nevertheless also gave His sacrifice as illustrated by the fountain of His tears that were poured out over the cross (illustrated by the parts of the paths of comet O3[43] and the sun emphasized on the right side of the picture above) as He gave His only begotten Son.
Our heavenly Father is not a distant, emotionless Watcher, as some would describe Him, but showed us His feelings when He called Abraham to sacrifice his only and cherished son, so that we could have a glimpse of what our Father really went through! If Abraham wept over his son, Isaac, how much more did the Father weep, when He provided Himself a divine Lamb—and no one stayed His hand:
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. (Genesis 22:8)
David, the man after God’s own heart, gave us another glimpse of the feelings of a righteous father[44] for a beloved son to whom incomparable sin was accounted:
And the king was much moved [at the news of his death], and went up to the chamber over the gate, and wept: and as he went, thus he said, O my son Absalom, my son, my son Absalom! Would God I had died for thee, O Absalom, my son, my son! (2 Samuel 18:33)
It is the fountain from the Father’s tears of sacrifice that gives life to the world.[45] And that fountain flows as the river of life from His throne. In the heavens, this river is represented by the constellation Eridanus. Satan (as Cetus) is attempting to grasp this throne. Look again at the scene.
What do you see on either side of that river? On one side is Orion, and on the other side is the Horologium—two heavenly clocks[46] on either side of the river of life![47] Could it be that we are already seeing the leaves of that heavenly tree today as comet BB[48] traces them in the Horologium constellation? Those leaves represent time that was requested for healing—to bring God’s people into unity and out of the church-age confusion and untold chaos in Babylon. This would explain why we would need healing from the tree of life! God presents the leaves for healing even before we are brought under its literal boughs.
The Horologium is the tree where God’s healing balm is produced. It is the gathering place for God’s people, where the humble can find divinely confirmed resolution to key doctrinal differences in the light of Time. In fact, some among God’s people on YouTube have been pointed to the Horologium either directly[49] or indirectly.[50] The Lord wants all His sheep to be in one fold, one church, just as Smyrna and Philadelphia—the two witnesses—are described as an inseparable unit. Both are of that remnant seed of the woman described in Revelation 12:
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)
The clocks of God illustrate His body, His church. When Orion was the active clock during the judgment of the dead, we saw the first four churches of Revelation represented in the Judgment cycle, where they well-characterized the condition of God’s people throughout the judgment of the dead. Only one among them (Smyrna) was approved without rebuke. Now, as the judgment of the living draws to its climactic end and the Horologium is the active clock, we can see how the church’s condition is reflected there as well. And again, only one among them (Philadelphia) is approved without rebuke.
The church of Sardis was admonished to watch, lest Jesus come as a thief for them because they would not watch for the time of their visitation. In the clock, we see the last half of the seventieth week as K2 comes down below the crossbeam. This is when we can expect that desolations are determined. At that time, Purim indicates that the tables should turn in favor of the righteous, and it will become obvious who had a right relation to the cross, while the unrepentant members of Sardis will be brought low.
However, in the first half of the seventieth week, K2 highlights the final moments of Philadelphia’s walk through the valley of the shadow of death above the crossbeam. The world will be set in array against them; every earthly support will have been taken away from them. Yet, they have been strengthened to stand because they have the threefold seal of Time, like the thrice-confirmed date of March 8, 2023.
Understand that just because we do not see Smyrna given a segment of the Horologium clock, it doesn’t mean that there are no more who give their physical lives for their faith. The clocks show the general situation, especially within Christian nations, since it is Christians who are involved in the cleansing of the sanctuary that was initiated at the end of the historical 2300 days in 1844.
Throughout Christian history, the seven churches are illustrated in the divine model of Israel’s conquest of Jericho. First, they made six laps around the city, one per day. These represent the classical interpretation of the churches as distributed throughout the Christian era, as has been nicely summarized in a graphic by Cyberspace Ministry:
The model of Jericho, however, shows us that the seals repeat after 1844, and thus the period allocated to Laodicea, listed in the chart above as “Today’s Church” (better would be, “Judgment Church”), really represents a new cycle of all seven seals, and thus all seven churches, beginning with Ephesus in 1846, when the law of God (including the Sabbath commandment) was rediscovered among a growing group of Millerite Adventists who remained faithful through the disappointment of 1844. Laodicea therefore does not actually belong in the chart above. Jesus had no commendation for that church but spit them out of the classical sequence.
In the judgment era, the clocks show the church in two phases of the judgment: Orion for the judgment of the dead, and the Horologium for the judgment of the living, loosely speaking—the church of the last generation who live to see Jesus return.
There was never so great a tribulation in length as the persecution during the dark ages when countless believers were compelled to give their lives for their faith. Those martyrs of Smyrna are represented at the head of Orion. Nor was there ever so great a tribulation in intensity and potency as today, when the blood of millions of Christians has been corrupted by Covid vaccination, so that the Lord doesn’t know them anymore. These are not martyrs, but they are dead on the battlefield without knowing it. Today’s Philadelphia stands uncorrupted at the head of the Horologium.
In the very end, there must come a time when the last true martyr gives his testimony somewhere on earth. Could it be that that time is shown on the Horologium as K2 crosses the midnight crossbeam on March 5, 2023? If so, then the testimony of the martyrs would be silenced in death, while in life, Philadelphia continues to be threatened with eternal annihilation, walking through the shadow of death a short while longer.
As K2 highlights the sacrifice of the two witnesses, there is one church that has no interaction with the comets during those final moments: Laodicea. This self-satisfied people felt they had need of nothing and therefore they receive nothing. Those who believe they have all that they need, are blissfully unaware of their ashaming nakedness before God and man that makes one want to vomit. Yet Jesus still knocks and if any individual among them finds courage to sell their self-righteousness and buy the Lord’s eye salve, let him declare that the emperor has no clothes! He will receive anyone who can hear His voice above the chaotic din within:
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20)
There is healing available in the leaves of the Horologium, even for this class. But there is a class of pretender witnesses who have forfeited their covenanted blessing for earthly conveniences, like Esau. They are identified as the synagogue of Satan, mentioned in the letters to both Smyrna and Philadelphia, the two real witnesses. Those who have no respect for their own body’s delicate biological machinery betray their lack of the fear of God and get irrecoverably vaccinated into the ranks of Satan. The healing balm of the tree of life is not approved as effective for this amalgamated species.
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him [the beast], whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8)
They will worship at Philadelphia’s feet, represented at the bottom of the pendulum.
Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews [meaning Christians!], and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. (Revelation 3:9)
Let each one consider how they regard their inherited birthright of faith!
And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me? (Genesis 25:32)
Christ alone is the faithful and true Witness,[51] and He calls all His people to fellowship with Him in sacrifice. Our calling as Christians is to be faithful unto death (Smyrna),[52] or true to the word of His patience (Philadelphia),[53] both of which are expressions of sacrifice, as we have explained at length in this series. For their love toward God and toward their fellow brethren, they stand solidly on the respective tables of the law of love.
At least since the Lord led us to the treasures of the lost ark in Orion in 2020, we have recognized a relationship between the tables of the law and different appearances of the full moon. Could there be two special full moons spanning the Christian era that would confirm the foundation upon which the two witnesses respectively stand? The full moon, however, is so common, that any association to a particular pair would require special biblical and prophetic features to establish such a correlation.
If we could identify two full moons to represent the tables of the covenant, they would need to be directly and strongly associated with the actual fulfillment of the covenant of God with man as pointed to by the twofold seventy-weeks prophecy and the 2300 days until the cleansing of the sanctuary.
Jesus’ part of the covenant was fulfilled on the cross in the midst of the seventieth week in AD 31. Was there anything special about that full moon? The full moon at Gethsemane was indeed no ordinary full moon. Notice how it is described by one who was shown that scene in vision:
In company with His disciples, the Saviour slowly made His way to the garden of Gethsemane. The Passover moon, broad and full, shone from a cloudless sky. The city of pilgrims’ tents was hushed into silence. {DA 685.1}
Two descriptors of the moon are given: It was “broad”, and it was “full”. This suggests that not only was it a fully illuminated moon, but it was also “broad” or wide. Today, we would call it a supermoon. Each month, as the moon goes through its phases, its apparent size changes because its distances from earth varies throughout its orbit. Every time the moon makes its closest approach to the earth (called perigee), it can be in a different phase. When the perigee coincides with the full moon phase, it is called a supermoon because it is larger in the sky. Due to the differing periods involved, a supermoon generally coincides with about three successive full moons in each year.
It can be easily verified that the crucifixion date of May 25, AD 31, was indeed a supermoon using a lunar perigee calculator.[54] However, Jesus’ death was just the beginning of the feast season. In fact, the day He rested in the tomb initiated the fifty-day count to Pentecost. Therefore, Pentecost, as well as the new moon feasts during the seven weeks, were all directly connected to the Spring feast season and Jesus’ crucifixion. There is always one full moon framed by the lunar month that falls within that seven-week count to Pentecost that is also closely connected to the time of the spring feasts. Could it be that this full moon during the seven weeks is also significant? It was also a supermoon—in fact, one that was even closer and larger than the first! Here is a visual illustration of that timeframe:
The spring feasts are one connected timeline from Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem that initiated His passion week, all the way to Pentecost (the feast of weeks) that followed the seven “Omer Sabbaths” after Jesus rested from His work of redemption. The feast of unleavened bread has a similar structure, where its seven days suggest man’s process of learning from Jesus until reflecting His self-sacrificial character as we explained before.
Take my yoke [the burden of the cross] upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:29)
Could it be that the feast of weeks is an expanded version of the feast of unleavened bread? Each day of unleavened bread would correspond to a week until Pentecost. Then the whole period until Pentecost would represent a process of learning to sacrifice. The Holy Spirit was imparted at Pentecost in the early rain to empower Christ’s disciples for making their own sacrifice in gospel service, and it has been imparted again in the latter rain to give a final boost of growth for the last generation to complete the reflection of the sacrifice of Christ in His people. The first full moon of the Spring feasts points to Jesus’ sacrifice, while the second full moon points to the transfer of His sacrificial character to His disciples.
In the years following that special outpouring of the Spirit as recorded in Acts, many of those who received Him at that time, ultimately gave their testimony in blood as martyrs for the Lord. They had learned to be witnesses for Jesus. The symbolism the Creator is using is the brightly shining supermoon, lighting the dark earth with a brilliance indirectly from the sun. His people—the bride of Christ—are to reflect His own glory as the lesser light reflects the glory of the greater Light that is Christ.
The story of the two witnesses has a dual nature, and both aspects are memorialized in the Horologium for eternity. There are two singular witnesses, which were clearly identified in the ark of the covenant that we observed in the Orion clock in 2020: Jesus and “the Last Elijah,” who was identified in connection with the comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE). Additionally, there are two collective witnesses, Smyrna and Philadelphia, each associated with their respective singular witness.
Following Jesus’ example, the early disciples gave their lives as Smyrnaean witnesses beginning with the first martyr, Stephen, precisely when the seventy weeks ended. Similarly, it was the Last Elijah (Brother John) who led the way in working with the Holy Spirit to prepare our hearts to surrender all—even our eternal lives if that would be needed. Is there a comparable heavenly reflection for the Philadelphian witnesses?
The remarkable thing is that in 2016, when we prayed to endure the tribulation cross, the lunar scenario was exactly the same for the southern hemisphere’s feasts as it was at the time of Jesus’ crucifixion in the northern hemisphere. As we played hymns at our campsite at the beginning of the southern Passover on October 16, 2016, a supermoon rose above us. And like in the time of Jesus, the full moon (November 14, 2016) during the seven weeks until Pentecost was the biggest supermoon of the year.
In fact, that very supermoon will remain the closest one within the final 75 years of earth’s history—and would continue to hold that title for another decade, should time last.[55] In short, it was the biggest, closest supermoon of this last generation! And before the feast of weeks arrived in 2016, the end-time fulfillment of the 2300 literal days had begun, connecting that feast season with the fulfillment of the prophecy of the seventy weeks!
Throughout the 2300 days that follow from their cross until the complete desolation at the end of Daniel’s vision, amid increasing tribulation, those who learn the song of that sacrifice, are represented by the biggest and brightest supermoon of this generation. The supermoon of AD 31 after Jesus died points to the time when the sanctuary was desecrated, while the supermoon of 2016 after the Sacrifice of Philadelphia points to the time when the sanctuary was finally cleansed.
Jesus made His sacrifice, signified by the Passover supermoon, purchasing by His blood, souls who would witness for Him, and His disciples understood His sacrifice and gave their testimony in the remainder of the 2300 years of the prophecy. That closest supermoon after Christ’s Passover in AD 31 represents the sacrificial character that Smyrna learned from her Lord, the first singular Witness.
In 2016, after the Passover[56] supermoon in memory of the cross of Christ, a small representative church family, led by the second singular witness, had learned to place even their eternal lives on the altar for others like Jesus did and they gave their testimony when they offered the Sacrifice of Philadelphia. This exemplifies how the healing balm of sacrificial witness is gathered.
The biggest and brightest supermoon of the last generation on earth on November 14, 2016, represents the sacrificial character of Philadelphia. And they put that sacrifice into practice when they descended down the slopes of “Mt. Chiasmus” to reach those who needed more time. This was well illustrated in an image from January 2017 in The Seven Lean Years:
It was after crossing the summit plateau that they embraced the cross in practice and began their descent for others. And isn’t it interesting that now, after so long, this old chart points to October of 2023 as the end of the seven months of burial after a global catastrophe? This means the catastrophic event would occur precisely in March of 2023 as understood both then and now!
The two supermoons of witness—one for Smyrna in AD 31 and one for Philadelphia in 2016—as celestial bodies that brightly reflect the light of the sun, have similarities to a different class of celestial bodies. Comets also reflect the light of the sun, especially as they draw near and give off their glistening cloud.
Those two rocks, comets BB and K2 as explained earlier, represent two angels; they are the messengers of the covenant. They stand for the two singular witnesses. Just before the Lord’s return, when both are on the heavenly clockface, the memorial of sacrifice is complete. The comet BB stands for the supermoon at Gethsemane, while K2 stands for the supermoon over the crossbeam of Philadelphia.
We have already seen how the cross of the Horologium also memorializes the learned sacrifice of Smyrna and Philadelphia. On March 8, 2023, when the two moons of the singular witnesses that many people have seen in dreams or visions[57] are also symbolized on the clock by the two comets, the sacrificial time of God’s witnesses should be no longer. Only their Horologium memorial of their sacrifice remains forever.
And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: (Revelation 10:5-6)
Indeed, as Daniel’s seventieth week comes into play, the dance of two rocks like two moons on the cross of the Horologium, now surrounded by a misty garment of light reflecting from the sun, depicts the eternal joy to come as Christ and His people, clothed in righteousness, are permitted to dwell together with God forever.
This is the result when the balm of Gilead is harvested from the Horologium tree of life with its fragrant leaves of time. With the accuser of the brethren’s allegations found unsubstantiated, our great Judge-turned-Physician will come in that seventieth week and apply the balm that has been gathered by His witnesses, awakening His resting saints of all generations. Then shall we ever be with the Lord.
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. (Revelation 15:3)
