One of the most striking apocalyptic prophecies in Revelation is the ominous hour, day, month, and year foretold within the sixth trumpet and second woe. Tied to the oath that “there should be time no longer,”[1] it marks a clear end-of-the-world milestone. This brief article examines its key connections to current events.
As detailed in The Sixth Trumpet video, the prophecy’s unfolding began with a definitive sign: the historic fall of Syria’s Assad regime, pinpointed as a pivotal moment by God’s cometary clock hand[2] in Orion. Iran, another significant figure in this prophecy, soon accused the U.S. and Israel of orchestrating the regime’s collapse.
“There should be no doubt that what has happened in Syria is the result of a joint American and Zionist plan,” Khamenei said on state TV. “We have evidence, and this evidence leaves no room for doubt.”[3]
The fall of Assad’s regime dealt a severe blow to Iran, fueling its anger as its ability to project power closer to Israel through Syria was sharply curtailed. Israeli airstrikes on Syrian military targets began immediately and persisted through the prophecy’s subsequent months, limiting opportunities for Iran-aligned groups to reclaim control. On December 15, Israel launched its most intense attack in the region since 2012, dubbed the “earthquake bomb,” unleashing a massive mushroom-cloud fireball.[4] Like the fall of the Assad regime, this date was marked on God’s clock in Orion, and marks the inflection point of the great and marvelous sign, when God’s wrath was full and could begin to be poured out.[5]
As outlined in The Sixth Trumpet video, the four units of time—hour, day, month, and year—are marked by four consecutive lunar months, each aligning with a respective unit. The chart below illustrates their correspondence:
The pivotal moment arrived with the black new moon of March 29, 2025, and its partial solar eclipse. Before the first crescent moon appeared in the evening of March 30, global headlines erupted as President Trump sharply escalated tensions with a provocative threat against Iran:
“If they don’t make a deal, there will be bombing,” Trump said in a telephone interview. “It will be bombing the likes of which they have never seen before.”[6]
Thus began the month when “fire” was foretold to fulfill its deadly role in the prophecy:
And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. (Revelation 9:15)
By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. (Revelation 9:18)
Trump’s dramatic bombing threat carries deep significance, as Iran figures prominently in the third trumpet prophecy, which even warned of its newest, most potent weapon by name: the Khorramshahr. God led us to this name in August 2017, before we knew its link to Iran’s arsenal. This was prior to the missile’s public debut and mere months after Iran began testing it earlier that year. Nuclear-ready, it remains Iran’s longest-range missile today.
The threat from the US president was given on the same black moon when the fourth bowl was poured out on the sun. The parallel is biblical. The fire, smoke, and brimstone correlate to the fire during the fourth bowl of God’s wrath, the darkening during the fifth, and the destination in the lake of fire of the three entities during the sixth.[7]
Significantly, Trump’s threat followed a letter he sent to Iran’s leader on March 7—the day the fourth bowl began its course in Orion’s hand. In it, he urged Iran with strong language to negotiate a new nuclear deal.[8] Like the fourth bowl, whose effects unfold in the month after its outpouring, the consequences of Trump’s bellicose rhetoric against Iran emerged during the “fire” month, from March 30 to April 27, 2025.
The original nuclear deal, forged in 2015 under the Obama administration, was abandoned by Trump in 2018, deemed a bad deal. These deals aim to prevent Iran from weaponizing its nuclear capabilities. Yet, Iran’s uranium enrichment has far exceeded levels needed for power generation and is entering the minimum threshold required for certain types of nuclear weapons.
Since Trump withdrew from the Iran deal in 2018, a ticking timebomb has loomed, poised to inflame the Middle East’s smoldering conflicts into outright war. With these recent developments, the threat has reached unprecedented heights.
Sir Richard Dalton described the situation as “the most dangerous it has ever been”.
In an interview with BBC Newsnight, Sir Richard said: “The risk of a war between Israel and the United States on the one hand and Iran on the other has never been higher.”[9]
Could this month bring fire to this conflict? Trump has deployed an aircraft carrier strike group[10] and nuclear-capable bombers to the region,[11] while Iran reportedly considers a preemptive strike on a U.S. base in the Indian Ocean.[12] Israel, having neutralized many of Iran’s proxy threats near its borders, is determined to prevent the Islamic Republic from achieving nuclear weapons capability. Last week, senior Israeli officials underscored this urgency in unmistakable terms:
“Iran’s nuclear programme should have been dealt with a long time ago”, a senior Israeli source warned recently. Israeli officials remain convinced that Teheran will be in a position to enrich enough Uranium 233 [sic] to produce several fission weapons by the end of this month and that action is urgently needed. A senior Israeli politician in Jerusalem told a UK newspaper, the Sun, that “it is more important now than ever to stop Khamenei’s nuclear ambition”, adding that “it’s not just crazy insistence, it’s extremely important for the stability of Israel and the world.[13]
On April 14, Trump emphasized the urgency, accusing Iran of using weekend talks to gain time. He issued a stern warning, implicitly threatening action by saying of Iran and nuclear weapons, “they’re not going to have one”.
“Iran has to get rid of the concept of a nuclear weapon. They cannot have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said.
Asked if U.S. options for a response include a military strike on Tehran’s nuclear facilities, Trump said: “Of course it does.”
Trump said the Iranians need to move fast to avoid a harsh response because “they’re fairly close” to developing a nuclear weapon.[14]
The angels once bound at the Euphrates are now freed according to the sixth trumpet prophecy,[15] taking their positions as storm clouds gather and the winds of war rapidly intensify. These developments don’t provide for much time.
Looking up to the heavenly timekeepers during these prophetically intense moments, we see the sun traversing the constellation of Pisces. It entered on March 12, when Trump’s letter was received by Iran, in which he warned of military action[16] unless it settled a deal within two months. The sun remains in Pisces until April 18, 2025.
This is significant, as Pisces is the angel at the March equinox “corner of the earth,” one of those restrained from causing harm until God’s servants would be sealed.[17] Closely tied to the harvest of God, these angels were bound by the prayer of the saints in 2016 and are now released. Therefore, when these angels now begin to hurt as the winds of World War III are unleashed,[18] it is unequivocal evidence that the 144,000 have been sealed, which heralds God’s imminent harvest.
Moreover, we previously noted that the moon’s alignment with the temple area on April 18—the same day the sun exits Pisces—signals the call to thrust in the harvest sickle for the good grain. Could it be around this date when the boiling point is reached in the Iran crisis, awakening God’s people to the reality of the end times? Time will reveal, but notably, the sun then enters Aries, the lamb—a fitting constellation for the harvest of wheat, symbolizing the 144,000 who follow the Lamb of God.
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. (Revelation 14:4)
God’s guidance in understanding the application of His prophetic word shines remarkably in our study of the third trumpet. Quoting from the 2017 article, Signposts to Eden:
The third trumpet begins the loud cry of the Fourth Angel! The texts from Revelation 14:13-19 run parallel to the texts of the trumpets. Thus, Revelation 14:15 belongs to the third trumpet:
And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. (Revelation 14:15)
This is the first time in the harvest texts that an angel cries with a loud voice. There is only one other with a loud voice. In the sixth trumpet, he calls for the vintage of the bad grapes; that is the end of grace.
This was the sounding third trumpet with its heavenly sign—a “great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp.”[19] By the Holy Spirit’s leading through a remarkable study, we discerned how “it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters”—directly on the city of Khorramshahr, Iran. Now, eight years after that warning during Trump’s first term, the threat it foretold looms larger than ever.
The Orion clock, which revealed the trumpet’s timing in 2017, showed how “the third and sixth trumpets are linked in a certain way.”[20] This connection now grows clearer. The second woe, heralded by the sixth trumpet, involves players signaled by the third trumpet—Iran and, indirectly, the harvest angel gathering the wheat. These events were independently prophesied for this lunar month, which began with the 70th Jubilee. The Lord stands poised to complete His final work on earth.
For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. (Romans 9:28)
As quoted earlier, Orion indicated that the sixth trumpet would encompass the end of grace and the start of the vintage. Now, as the fire and smoke of the second woe yield to brimstone, the world’s age of grace will indeed conclude in the time foretold by the sixth trumpet. God’s word will not return void but will fulfill its purpose.[21] May God’s kingdom reap a bountiful harvest as all discern the Lord’s work in this hour. May you stand steadfast in the faith Jesus seeks at His return.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:7-8)
For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:13-17)
