In the last article, it was emphasized that God speaks through comets, a concept that is even indirectly acknowledged by secular writers, who refer to them as “messengers from the solar system’s deep past” (which is to say, messengers from the Ancient of Days, the Creator). Furthermore, comets that are (or might become) visible to the naked eye should be of particular interest to students of Bible prophecy because Jesus said to “look up” when your redemption is drawing near.[1]
This article will examine the prophecy that says Babylon will be thrown down like a millstone into the sea. How will this happen? When will this happen? Does the voice of God from the heavens give counsel for facing this event? As we discover the meaning of this prophecy, the passionate theme that was brought to view in the last section of the previous article will be brought to its culmination. We are living in perilous times where courage and fidelity, bravery and truth, sacrifice and love will be seen.
As draconian COVID mandates intensify in many places around the world, more and more conscientious individuals are preparing themselves to defend their stand against the genetic manipulation of the body temple of the Holy Spirit. Once more, we refer our readers to The Number of the Seed of God which presents our Society’s Request for Religious Vaccination Exemption, a document that can be used to seek exemption on religious grounds as provided by international human rights laws.
However, even combined with the best argumentation in your personal interview, it might not be possible to win every case, and sacrifices might need to be made. Wisdom must be exercised, and every peaceable avenue of escape must be sought. The following study will give special guidance for those living in Europe, while the principles might be applied in many other locations now or in the near future as local conditions can worsen at any time.
The deliverance of God’s people in the book of Revelation is inextricably linked to the fall of Babylon. Freedom can only reign when the oppression has ceased, and therefore the people of God today are pleading for God to intervene on their behalf to stop the wicked in their plans.
O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. Lord, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph? (Psalm 94:1-3)
The promise of God is that He will not forget.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:7-8)
In the previous articles, we saw three comets that were identified as the angels of Revelation 17:1, 18:1, and 18:4, respectively. However, there is another angel mentioned in the context of Babylon’s fall that has not yet been completely identified:
And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. (Revelation 18:21)
As we look up to the heavens today, could there still be another comet approaching, which might explain what this mighty angel is doing in the prophecy? In fact, EarthSky reports the following:
A new comet discovered in late July 2021 is now approaching the inner solar system. It might reach at least binocular visibility by late April and early May 2022. The IAU Minor Planet Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts designated it as Comet C/2021 O3 (PanSTARRS) on August 1. Confirmation images show a compact coma or cometary atmosphere (see image above). Interestingly, the comet’s orbit appears to be parabolic. That is, the orbit’s shape indicates this comet has just enough escape velocity to pull away from our sun’s gravity. It’s due to sweep past our sun. And, if it survives that sweep, it’ll then head outward. Unless perturbed by a larger body (such as Jupiter), it stands a chance of veering into the wider space of our Milky Way galaxy, never to return.[2]
From the outset, the timing of the comet’s potential visibility, at least with binoculars, is interesting: it is a very exciting time on God’s calendar. Furthermore, over half of that news article’s introductory description of the comet emphasizes its unique orbit, which indicates that the comet will “escape” and veer out into the Milky Way. Could this comet bring a biblical message of hope for God’s people to escape the heat of this world’s persecuting powers and be ultimately raptured to the Milky Way? (Those who know the mystery of the Holy City know what traveling to the Milky Way would mean!)
As we learned in our Great Supper of God article, when God sends a heavenly messenger (a comet) to us with a message, He tells us what it means in the Revelation. To fully understand what He says there, however, we must compare what is written in the Bible with what we see when we look up to the sky. Where does the comet come from? Where is it going? Does it match the biblical description?
From the time of EarthSky’s report until this writing, the comet has been traveling through the constellation of Pegasus, the “flying horse.” This might already allude to the coming of Jesus, depicted in the Revelation as coming in the clouds of heaven (i.e. flying) on a white horse. We are indeed in the period during which this scene is taking place—a time of war and rescue:
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. (Revelation 19:11)
So far, the context seems fitting, but what we are looking for is an angel casting a millstone into the sea. Let us see if we find what we are looking for when we trace the comet’s movements further:
Notice that in the days leading up to January 5—that is to say, leading into the new year when many of the new vaccine mandates go into effect—the comet appears to follow a trajectory very much in line with the waterpot of Aquarius, which he pours into the sea. This comet, moving in the direction of the water flow, could be the “millstone” that is thrown into the sea.
Note that Jupiter is in the center of the constellation at this time, which has much significance in this context as well. As explained in The Hour of Escape, Jupiter has many millstone attributes, so it’s presence in the constellation at this time imparts to the comet those characteristics. It is quite remarkable that the understanding of the millstone that God gave us at that time when Jupiter entered the constellation of Aquarius is validated today, in that it gives the precise meaning of the comet that is entering the constellation.
Furthermore, Aquarius stands in a certain sense for judgment. Not only is Aquarius associated with flooding—the means by which God anciently destroyed the wicked world—but he is also referred to as the mythical “cupbearer of the gods.” Is this comet not an appropriate way to illustrate the pouring out of the cup of God’s wrath upon Babylon at this time? It also goes without saying that Aquarius also stands for the LGBT abominations for which God once destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone as an example for the end of the world.[3]
The millstone imagery in Revelation (like most of the expressions of Revelation) is drawn from earlier parts of the Scriptures. Jesus Himself spoke of this violent end to the wicked as follows:
But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (Matthew 18:6)
Mark the Evangelist includes a detail not found in the other Gospels in relation to offending the little ones:
For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward. (Mark 9:41)
A cup of water to a soul thirsting for truth is such a contrast to the outpouring of the cup of God’s wrath! A millstone is intended to grind grain in order to prepare bread. In the spiritual sense, it is about the pastors of the flock[4] giving nourishing spiritual food to the children of God as meat in due season. But the millstone is used here to illustrate death—even eternal death—for those who instead of nurturing God’s children even harm them! To such, the same truth that sustains the righteous soul will grind them to powder.[5] What offense must it be for the Giver of the Water of Life to be so offended that He pours out the cup of wrath to the very dregs of eternal death!? Who is the person that has committed this great offense!? The answer will come soon enough.
The next phase of its trajectory sees the comet move through Aquarius and into Pisces—the “sea” where the fish are. Remember, the millstone is cast “into the sea:”
Prophetically speaking, the “sea” represents Europe with its many different peoples and languages and cultures and nations.[6] Can we expect a violent “splash” in Europe on February 1, as the millstone is thrown in? How about headlines such as this:
Austria becomes first Western country to resort to mandatory coronavirus vaccination
When? February 1. And this won’t stay in Austria; Germany and other countries are trying to do the same.[7] Note that “violence” is the use of force against the will of the victim, so when the Bible compares the violence of Babylon’s fall to the throwing down of a millstone, it is clearly referring to a use of force. This is the warning to residents of Europe: leave if and when you can, because the powers that be are intent on vaccinating you whether you like it or not.
However, forced vaccination is not the fall of Babylon but its expansion! There must be another form of violence that wipes out Babylon (especially in terms of its economy). Many are attentively watching what is happening in Europe on another battle front: namely, its border with Russia. Tensions are high in the Ukraine and Belarus as the threat of war looms over Europe. Could war be the means by which Babylon is made to fall “with violence?” Another hint for war is the fact that the money supply is admittedly out of control. Dollar inflation is rising unusually fast, even in the estimation of those who normally aren’t willing to admit it.[8] When national finances get too far out of control, war is often pursued as the way out.
Whatever the other reasons for a war may be, there is almost always an economic motive underlying most conflicts, even if the stated aim of the war is presented to the public as something more noble.[9]
And it goes without saying that if war were to begin in Europe, it would become a world war very quickly.
We are living in dangerous times, but God is working for the deliverance of His people. We are not finished following the path of the PanSTARRS comet, and you will surely be surprised how much more it has yet to teach us about the fall of Babylon. If one follows the comet through the “sea” until it reaches perihelion, a discovery is made:
The comet hooks through the jawbone of the sea monster exactly at perihelion! This is a vivid pictorial sign of what was explained in The Manifestation of Justice in regards to Ezekiel’s prophecy against Gog of Magog:
And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: (Ezekiel 38:4)
The expression of putting a hook into the jaw is used in reference to Leviathan, the great dragon of the sea, which symbolizes Satan:
Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? (Job 41:1-2)
Interestingly, this same expression is found in another prophecy in the book of Ezekiel, this one about Egypt, in which God gives additional context:
But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven. (Ezekiel 29:4-5)
Notice that in this prophecy, the fish in Leviathan’s waters are said to be caused to “stick” to him. Besides the obvious fact that those who cling to Babylon will fall with her, this wording also verifies that the prophets wrote more for our time than for their own,[10] because he describes the fish in terms which only this generation can literally see: attached, just like they are depicted in Stellarium, with the two fishes of the constellation Pisces bound by a cord to the “scales” (or skin) of Cetus. In past generations, this prophecy could have had no more than the allegorical fulfillment, but now these words can be understood literally on the canopy of heaven, and this is further evidence that we are correct to apply the prophecy in this way—specifically, at the exact moment when the comet’s perihelial “hook” bores through the jaw of Cetus.
This prophecy against Egypt also refers to the feeding of the fowls of heaven, which is the context of Revelation 19:21 as expected, and it is noteworthy that it marks the one point when Egypt fell harder than any other time in history. Egypt, historically, was once the greatest nation of the world, and even after it lost its eminence, it continued to have a dominant influence and a reputation for its military strength. Many other nations leaned on Egypt for protection and defense. Does that sound familiar? Is that not the role of the United States of America today?—once great, still maintaining a reputation for dominance and military strength, and relied upon by many smaller nations? But this prophecy marks the pivotal moment in Egypt’s history that transformed it from world dominance to an impoverished and insignificant land:
It shall be the basest of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations. And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which bringeth their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord God. (Ezekiel 29:15-16)
And Leviathan’s fishes—the Christians who stuck themselves to Satan by taking his DNA—will fall together with Babylon. Now it can be seen exactly who that great offender is against the children of God: it is none other than the dragon, Satan incarnate, Pope Francis, who not only leads the pack of child-molesting dogs but is also responsible for the genetic experimentation of COVID vaccination on the rest of the innocent children of the world! Like Pharaoh slew the males in the time of Moses’ birth, and Herod massacred the children in the days of Christ’s first coming, so he is culling the children of God—those with the Creator’s genetic fingerprint—and drawing them into the netherworld of eternal extinction today. Jesus was also born from a genetic seed, and that Seed is what gave Him His identity as the Son of God![11] Don’t corrupt a child’s DNA, don’t throw it away with abortion, and don’t destroy his or her sense of gender. It is as wrong as child sexual abuse!
In the picture above, you can literally see how the millstone is “hanged about his neck” to sink him to the bottom of the sea where he belongs! To have never existed would have been better than to harm God’s children—old or young—and this is the judgment that is ultimately to be pronounced upon Satan and his minions and all those who abuse the science of genetics. After the millennium, Time Himself will roll back the clock[12] of Satan’s existence, and the shadows of his deranged deeds will disappear in the glorious light of a new heaven and a new earth in which the children of God will forever thrive in the warmth of redeeming love.
(Do you understand why Comet Leonard’s story began on December 12, when that comet was in the heart of the Serpent Bearer, as explained in The Great Supper of God? Jorge Mario Bergoglio—Gog of Magog—celebrated his 52nd year of service as the cadaver of Satan[13] the very next day—December 13—while the comet was still in the constellation of Ophiuchus. Meanwhile, God taught us about the millstone comet on that very same day.)
The comet is moving quickly now, as it passes perihelion. It makes its closest approach to the earth from May 7 to 9, 2022, so the article says.
This is the last major point of interest before the comet departs on its parabolic orbit into the Milky Way, never to return again to this old world. Is it still telling a story? Does this angel comet’s departure symbolize something you are longing for in the depths of your soul?
The constellation of Perseus, where the comet is located when it makes its closest approach, is named after the legendary savior of Andromeda, the beautiful woman of Greek legend who was chained to a rock at the water’s edge to die at the mouth of the sea monster. In the spiritual sense, Perseus represents Jesus, who comes to destroy “Leviathan” (Satan and his Babylonian kingdom) and rescue His faithful church. This comparison is further indicated by the sun’s presence in Aries, the Ram, signifying that it is Jesus, the Lamb of God, who is the main Actor on stage during this time.
But the date of this comet’s close approach carries yet a deeper meaning. The fact that it makes its closest approach immediately after “May 6” is significant. “May 6” is a date that is etched deeply into the experience and memory of long-time High Sabbath Adventists. It was “May 6” of 2012 when the early few embarked on their first 1260-day journey along the path of sacred sacrifice, choosing rather to suffer for God in the work of His mission than to enjoy the comforts of the world or the association of the dearest in life. It was their dedication to the priesthood, as you can read all about in the Final Warning series of articles.
What a contrast is drawn between this comet’s close approach to earth and that of Comet Leonard! Both are highlighting an ordination of sorts—these, a self-denying few, vs. that of Jorge Bergoglio. But what distinction does God highlight here?
It was again a “May 6,” this time of 2019, when High Sabbath Adventists reached the culmination of their work—so they thought. It had been seven years: twice the grueling 1260 days with which they commenced their work. God led them in their journey through many a trial and taught them righteousness and judgment. Many who began the journey did not finish it, but those who had learned to exercise faith in the Lord and withstand delay, disappointment, and suffering were able to continue on.
So, when in 2019, as far as they could see all the Scriptures had been fulfilled, and even the plagues had been poured out, they expected the Lord to come. All that remained was the rapture they were waiting for, which would simultaneously bring the end upon the wicked. The books had been closed and they wrote what they believed would be their final farewell.
As you know by virtue of reading these words, they had to take up their cross once again.
Why does God bring these experiences and disappointments to memory? The secret—as always—is in the timing. According to Horologium time, May 6, 2022, is the perfect nine o’clock hour as marked by the position of the comet:
In addition to the close-approach date of PanSTARRS and the clock time indicated by Bernardinelli-Bernstein, the calendar of God also offers temporal context to what this means. The first possibility for the new year to begin according to the biblical calendar should be on April 2/3 subject to moon visibility. The second possibility would be May 2/3, 2022, just days before the May 6 date. This could make May 6/7, 2022 the first Sabbath of the new year, which, being the year of Christ’s coming is also the jubilee year, as indicated by the Comet of Time.
However, in the southern hemisphere where God has relocated to, it would be the time of the autumn feasts. More on the subject of the jubilee can be found in The Comet of Time and the Meaning of Life, in the section The Seventh Shmita Year. There, it is noted that the southern hemisphere’s Day of Atonement (when the trumpet of the jubilee was blown) will fall on May 12, 2022, again just days away from the May 6 date. So, it would seem that God is bringing our attention to the beginning of the jubilee at this time—that great occasion when God’s people will finally be liberated from their bondage:
Then commenced the jubilee, when the land should rest. I saw the pious slave rise in triumph and victory and shake off the chains that bound him, while his wicked master was in confusion and knew not what to do; for the wicked could not understand the words of the voice of God. Soon appeared the great white cloud. It looked more lovely than ever before. On it sat the Son of man. At first we did not see Jesus on the cloud, but as it drew near the earth we could behold His lovely person. This cloud, when it first appeared, was the sign of the Son of man in heaven. The voice of the Son of God called forth the sleeping saints, clothed with glorious immortality. The living saints were changed in a moment and were caught up with them into the cloudy chariot. It looked all over glorious as it rolled upward. On either side of the chariot were wings, and beneath it wheels. And as the chariot rolled upward, the wheels cried, “Holy,” and the wings, as they moved, cried, “Holy,” and the retinue of holy angels around the cloud cried, “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty!” And the saints in the cloud cried, “Glory! Alleluia!” And the chariot rolled upward to the Holy City. Jesus threw open the gates of the golden city and led us in. Here we were made welcome, for we had kept the “commandments of God,” and had a “right to the tree of life.” {EW 35.1}
Notice that some time elapses between the commencement of the jubilee and the appearance of Jesus on the cloud (which happens “soon” after the jubilee commences). Thus, it is altogether fitting that the jubilee should begin at that time. This is the moment of deliverance, when the pious slave rises in triumph and victory, no longer shackled by the wicked. And the definitive difference between the righteous and the wicked is clear in the closing line of that quote: “for we had kept the ‘commandments of God.’” They had in the hearts—in their inner being, in every cell of their body—the transcription of God’s character. They kept His DNA and stayed in His family tree, and therefore “had a ‘right to the tree of life.’”
What God is showing here is so deep that words refuse to utter it. Why is this date marked by the nine o’clock hour on the Horologium clock? Why does the “PanSTARRS” comet tell the story of Perseus coming across the stars to the rescue of Andromeda? Why are the commandments of God revealed in the asterism of the Northern Cross through an imminent red nova formed by the merger of two suns?
The nine o’clock point was explained in this series’ first article, The Rod of Iron:
The trajectory of the comet [Bernardinelli-Bernstein] (from the 9 o’clock point to the center) forms the other arm of the cross. It highlights the reciprocal sacrifice of created beings. Jesus showed His Father’s love as He hung on the cross at the hour of the evening sacrifice, and Philadelphia demonstrated that His love was present in their heart when they were led to make their sacrifice during their worship at the morning sacrifice hour in the week of Tabernacles in 2016.
Through the comet in the Horologium clock, God commemorates mankind’s work in the plan of salvation, which alongside His work, makes it possible for the plan of salvation to succeed.[14]
This sign thus memorializes the everlasting covenant between God and man that shall bear never-ending blessings throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity…
God is bringing to remembrance the sacrifice of Philadelphia. This was when the people of God interceded to postpone the coming of Jesus. They risked an uncertain future—possibly death or any yet-unknown hazards—for the opportunity to seal more people with the Light of Truth. They did not suspect that COVID-19 vaccination would come, or that the world’s financial system would grind to a halt. They did not know what perils would await them, or how long they would need to labor under increasingly Orwellian circumstances. But they chose, risking the unknown dangers, out of love for others.
Why does God bring this morning sacrifice to remembrance at the nine o’clock hour on May 6, 2022, when “Perseus” should come to the rescue of “Andromeda”? Note that even in the ancient lore, it was not entirely with a disinterested motive:
Perseus immediately fell in love with the lovely maiden and promptly killed Cetus the beast, who had been licking his lips at the prospect of having a delicious meal. Perseus took Andromeda to her father Cepheus and asked for her hand in marriage.[15]
This brings us back to the scenes of the Revelation:
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. (Revelation 19:7)
Did the Redeemer save humanity for humanity to chase after its own whims? No! The Redeemer saved the world because He loved us and wanted us to be united with Him again.
Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own. {LDE 39.2}
When the Father beholds one who has been redeemed by the blood of His Son, He sees His Son. The redeemed soul has the same character, and like identical twins who share the same DNA, his or her resemblance is indistinguishable.
Are you beginning to understand why God chose a collapsing binary star system to represent the tables of the law, as explained in the last part of The Great Supper of God? The Ten Commandments are synonymous with the everlasting covenant between God and man. It is a reciprocal agreement—a marriage. And once those two stars have come together, they will never again be separated; they will become one—and the fruit of that union will be a most beautiful explosion of light and a stellar “remnant” that will thenceforth mark the spot of a single, united stellar body.
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (Matthew 19:6)
To have the character of Christ means to have His selfless sacrificial love—a love that would do whatever it takes, whatever the cost, to extend the invitation of heaven to the lost. But even such unbounded love has a limit: when all the cases have been decided and every individual has made his or her decision and there is no one left to offer salvation to, then there is nothing more which love can do.
…and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. (From Matthew 25:10)
Am I ready? Is my robe spotless? Will I defend the Savior’s royal bloodline at all costs? Will I guard and protect the lineage of the Only Begotten of the Father as long as I live?
And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9)
The everlasting covenant is the pact between divinity and humanity to mutually uphold the law of God. In practical terms, the human race does this in part by keeping its genome pure as it has been handed down from Creation. It will require effort and sacrifice, but if mankind does not do this, what will Jesus return for?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:8)
The PanSTARRS comet has one more wonder in store. We must check where in the sky it comes from, and to where it will return:
There is no ambiguity: the tables of the law are opened wide and are plain for all to see. One table represents the obligations pertaining to the divine party, and the other table represents the obligations pertaining to the created party. Both have a role to fulfill for all eternity, the benefits of which will be the peaceful governance of the universe.[16]
As if this were not enough, the comet’s origin is also in the immediate vicinity of a feature called the Veil Nebula.
The supernova that created this nebula is estimated to have exploded ten to twenty thousand years ago—about the time when sin first entered the universe, when Lucifer spawned the first seed of iniquity,[17] as discovered in The Grand Finale of the Shaking of the Heavens series. When sin entered the universe, it cast a shadow over all the innumerable worlds that God had created—a veil that has since been hiding the true character of God’s love in the face of His creation.
As a bride’s face beams in the joy of her husband’s love for her, so the creation was meant to reflect the light of God’s character to all. Thus, the comet’s origin and destiny—having traveled untold eons from this part of the sky, and set to continue its never-ending parabolic journey to the same, is one more allusion to the bride who has made herself ready, whose veil has been lifted.
Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. (Psalm 85:10)
Everything is ready. All that awaits is the consummation.
The church has one foundation,’Tis Jesus Christ her Lord; She is His new creation,By water and the word; From heaven He came and sought herTo be His holy bride; With His own blood He bought her,And for her life He died.
Elect from every nation,Yet one o’er all the earth,Her charter of salvation,One Lord, one faith, one birth; One holy name she blesses,Partakes one holy food,And to one hope she presses,With every grace endued.
Though with a scornful wonder,Men see her sore oppressed,Though foes would rend asunderThe Rock where she doth rest,Yet saints their faith are keeping;Their cry goes up, “How long?”And soon the night of weepingShall be the morn of song.
’Mid toil and tribulation,And tumult of her war,She waits the consummationOf peace forevermore;Till with the vision gloriousHer longing eyes are blest,And the great church victoriousShall be the church at rest.
