Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints... which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:26-27)
What does it mean for Christ to live in us? At the end of time, the prophesied unveiling of the Ark of the Covenant in heaven reveals how Jesus imparts His perfect obedience to His people—enabling them to keep God’s law and bear His testimony, the defining mark of His remnant.
And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Revelation 12:17)
The unveiling of the ark of the covenant in the heavens illustrates how Christ imparts His perfect obedience to His church:
The four ark bearers—like the two covering cherubim that were part of the mercy seat and the two angels that Solomon placed with the ark when he built the temple[1]—are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth described in Revelation 11:4,[2] symbolizing the close relationship between Christ and His church.
The olive trees represent Jesus at the two solstice points:
The Cross at the Galactic Equator – marks His crucifixion on May 25, 31 A.D.,[3] when the moon stood in that region.
Orion’s Club – Jesus is symbolized in Orion as the resurrected One, ministering in the heavenly sanctuary.[4] His intercession ends June 4, 2025, the day the final portion of the Holy Spirit is “consumed” (like the 372 daily portions of flour mixed with oil that were provided throughout the autumn feasts[5]) and His presence is withdrawn from the earth thereafter.
Jesus is the true olive tree, and from Him flows the oil of the Holy Spirit. In Gethsemane—a name that means “olive press”—Jesus began to be pressed under the full weight of sin, yet in complete self-denial, He submitted to the Father’s will. In Gethsemane, the divine Son of God submitted Himself to the care of evil men, knowing what was in man.[6] He placed Himself in the heart of the earth,[7] that we might be brought into the heart of God. Here—in Gethsemane—the oil of Jesus’ submissive obedience to His Father, began to be pressed from the divine Olive tree through suffering.
O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. (Matthew 26:39)
This is the obedience He imparts to us. He did not shrink from the scorn and suffering He would endure but chose to redeem humanity—no matter the cost to Himself. This complete submission to and trust in Jesus in the life of each believer is vital for the coming months, as the world enters a time of trouble such as never was.[8]
The candlesticks receiving the oil correspond to two churches without reproach. Churches that exhibit the sacrificial character of Christ. In the heavens, we see them depicted in the two constellations at the equinox points:
Pisces (Smyrna)
Virgo (Philadelphia)
In the imagery of the ark bearers, Smyrna, which endured suffering and trial, is paired with the cross, where Jesus died. This church receives the oil of His spirit of unwavering loyalty—even at the cost of life.
And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive… be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2:8,10)
Philadelphia, paired with Orion, draws oil from the risen High Priest. They lay their eternal lives on the altar, interceding in prayer on behalf of others.[9] The overcomers of this church are promised to be made pillars in His temple.
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth… Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God... (Revelation 3:10,12)
Both churches reflect self-sacrificing obedience unto death, embodying the love of Christ:
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
The ark bearers illustrate the doctrine of righteousness by faith: Christ’s obedience, flowing like oil into the lamps, fills His faithful people so that they can give the testimony of Jesus.
Through the study of Revelation with biblical astronomy, God is unlocking mysteries of His plan of redemption as never before.
In the time of trouble, as the bowls of wrath are poured out and the Holy Spirit finally leaves the impenitent world, God’s children can stand firm—filled with Christ’s perfect obedience, shinning with the oil of His Spirit.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ is now displayed in the heavens for all to see. First in the testimony of the sign of the Son of man of Jesus’ ministry as High Priest pointing to the ultimate representation on the Father’s clock of the Mazzaroth. Jesus and the Father are One.
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (John 6:38)
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. (Revelation 1:1-3)
